Cathy Gilmore is the creator of the Fatima Friends Adventure Guide program. She is an award-winning children’s author and an experienced catechist. Cathy is passionate about assisting parents, grandparents and teachers to inspire children with fervent faith, powerful prayer and vibrant virtue. Her Virtue Heroes™ series of children’s books are filled with characters who empower character in kids. Cathy is also the founder of the Virtue Literacy Project to promote the knowledge and practice of virtue through the experience of reading and media.
Yorris Handoko is a professional illustrator, history buff, and piano enthusiast. His captivating art has enlivened the pages of the Fatima Friends Adventure Guide and grown-up guide. He has illustrated numerous campaigns, programs and children’s books in the U.S. and abroad, including most recently, Mysteries of The Holy Rosary: The Life of Jesus and Mary by Jane Morrone and Heather Lean; and New Friends Now and Forever: The Story About the Holy Souls by Susan Tassone. He resides in Indonesia.

Founded in 1947 as the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima in Plainfield, New Jersey, its worldwide mission is to help people learn, live, and spread the authentic message of Fatima, in accord with the Church and in concert with the New Evangelization.
